Frieda opened the tearoom in 2011 and it has not looked back! In 2023 a Tea Bus was operated which took guests on a drive down the coast while serving Afternoon Teas! It was very popular and people still talk about it to this day! Unfortunately it was de commissioned later that year.
At the end of 2024 Frieda handed the reins/cake stands over to Cathy who had fallen in love with the tea room the moment she laid eyes on it. The name remains as the place wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t called Frieda’s!
